The above quote is by David Livingstone, what a wonderful example.
Colossians 3:23 – Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
Proverbs 14:23 – All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
May these children learn to work well and work hard and may the Lord always provide for all their needs.
Here are some little ones, hard @ work…
Many thanks to Bay Fitness – http://www.bayfitness.co.za/ who ran a spinathon to raise funds for us. It was this last Saturday (19 October) from 7am-11am and folks could go pedal for 30min-4hours. Well done to the manager of Amigos from across the road who did the whole 4 hour slot for us. Wow! .
According to the feedback from the folks involved is was a lot of fun and Our Community here in Gordon’s Bay is excited to help and support us. Fantastic!
“If you can’t feed a hundred people, feed just one.”

Here are a handful of children enjoying their Friday afternoon munchies. Always ready to be in the picture and give a friendly greeting.
Proverbs 27:23 – Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.
Proverbs 12:10 – A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
Last week the children had an educational talk on Animal Welfare. They listened attentively and one little boy even brought his dog to demonstrate how a caring bond between man and animal is possible.
This is an important part of training the children to value what God has created for us to enjoy. It is wonderful to have a pet, but they need to know how to care for them correctly.
Our heart is to feed the children body, mind and spirit. To help them grow and develop in all areas, to become well rounded people that can build a strong community of hope. this is some of the body food…looks good!
In March this year our scouting crew visited this site and put in an offer to purchase. Mr Vegard Isaksen and the seller signed a sales agreement and things began to unfold. It was a prayer been answered. Vegard Isaksen has purchased the property for our use and helped with upgrading the building. He has kindly made it available for us to use free of charge. God is good to us and has provided a way.
This is Temperance Town. It is a small community of approximately 180 homes. Most of the households are headed by single parents or unmarried couples. Poverty, substance-abuse and child neglect is rife. This is our little corner of the world where we can do small things with great love and make it count.
